| On a typical summers day in early July, with rain lashing the Pennine moors and wind howling over the Dales, devoted brethren from the strange cult of URG, braved the elements and did journey from afar, over mountains high and rivers wide, to gather together for "The Meet", to exchange arcane lore and knowledge, to trade rare herbs and roots, and to consume vast quantities of food. The miracles of modern technology have enabled key moments of this legendary tryst to be magically captured by means of a camera obscura and displayed upon this page, so that those disciples in far flung corners of urg-land, unable to attend in person, may witness for themselves the accompanying festivities, and at last put "faces" to "names". |
